Sechelles Seychelles National Assembly 2011 election boycott by the Opposition

We ask readers to refer to the link we will be adding with this thread from Nation, the reason the Opposition gave for boycotting the 2011 national Assembly election.

Electoral  Reform Forum 5.3.12 source - Le Seychellois

In spite of having address the issues of the Presidential election 2011 and the registration of that SIROP etc exile/refugee program by LUNGOS in Seychelles, events during the Presidential election and to date - noting that the EU have voice their concern to Seychelles Government regarding this very strange and bizarre situation and position of Seychelles government and SPPF/PL about the 10,000 - 15,000 Seychellois living in exile and government refusal for the past 30 refusal to acknowledge they even exist. It is unparallel in modern government and democracy - for this, such situation to have gone on for 35 years and nobody form the West and EU call them or anybody to account.

Again - all the Opposition in Seychelles who have failed, refused to address or demand any form of national or international accountability about the fate of the 10, 000 - 15, 000 Seychelles exile/refugee.

Their Human Rights violation under the Constitution

The violation of their rights to vote, take part in our National affairs because of their exile/refugee situation

Violation of their Rights for proper Compensation.

The massive abuse and Corruption by the Seychelles government to collect and receive Funds, Grants targeted for supporting those living exile/refugee, democratic aspiration - these money, Funds, grants being improperly used. This for the past 20 years.

At the Blog for Seychelles Freedom Party, we read today that they have replied to the President of the Electoral Commission explaining the requested meaning of "bona fide" in their constitution. Again we will be adding their link to this thread.

In Seychelles - we have some 150 - 300 individuals who have returned from exile since 1991. In which case given the development of LUNGOS, civic society the requirement and need to have had some kind of Body, structure to represent the many highly important national interests of the exile/refugee who have returned and the 10,000 - 15,000 in exile.

There are former President, several ex Ministers, Leaders Members of the exile opposition and factions, Lawyers, business man and priest - yet none have found it necessary to support or put in place such national Body.

Seychelles prides itself for environment and ecology issues and policy - yet for the International communities where one of the most important agenda regarding human being is the topic of exile/refugee - nobody has sounded the alarm loud enough, lobby loud enough and express their concern loud enough. The utter hypocrisy and highly abnormal Benchmark and utterly corrupted practice in place. It would have been interesting to sum up how much money the Seychelles government have been given, fisted and granted over the past 20 for ecology and environment. In relation to the National exile/refuge issues.

These exile/refugees from our Nations have found refuge in the world leading civilization - how they deal with other International refugee issues and of people and nation, situation less deserving.

The objective of this thread is to focus on the National political situation - We have brought significant economic boost and vital economic support to the 2 and 3rd Republic. We have made highly important contributions and impacts at all level of our 3rd Republic working, Constitution, Judiciary, Police, Army, education, medical, public Service, private sector service, Tourist industry, the Small business, the Offshore industry, service industry, the Oil and energy industry, Fishing Industry - it is only natural and proper that we had due and adequate political representation at Local, Council, and National including international level to that we best represent our cause. As well as global and international issues - Indian Ocean, Gulf region and African Union.
In Seychelles - all the political parties talk and write about scandal and corruption - this is the biggest national scandal and corruption and going on for 20 years.

We had acquired some momentum in the progress, work to register SIROP etc exile/refugee program in Bruxelles and Seychelles. The massive personal, dreadful, traumatic time we went through the past two weeks - those who do not want us to become engage and get that SIROP etc exile/refugee program registered in Bruxelles or Seychelles. { Yet the length and extent they are supporting the destruction and destabilization of all North Africa and Gulf Region and the important extremist elements involved - their media involvement, this has been their position and attitude for the past 20 years.}

To make matter more complex given the very many possibilities using the Social Network - none or very few fro our Exile/refugee be they in Canada, USA, Quebec, EU, South Africa, Australia, Asia, New Zealand and other parts of the world join the existing network available to support, and let the world know their views - they prefer to suffer in Silence. They prefer to be and live as unknown and none existence entity, which do not do justice to our Greater Cause.

Everybody forgets is was not NDP, SNP or SFP that brought about the important political changes in Seychelles after 15 years of one party State - the changes were brought about by the Exile/refugee. Seychelles National politic has reached dead end/stalemate. In exile there are very many highly calibrated, experience Seychellois citizens and national who can bring the due revival to Seychelles in term of politic, social, democratic and the many institutional fibre that is essential, necessary to build a nation. There is the need and call to remind those political parties and their Leadership and Executives as well as their Supporters. We also know that from those 10,000 - 15, 000 the percentage that represent the Conservative, the SPPF/PL, the SNP and other Nationalist or Liberal and Socialist political views.

Note: We have read the artile and seen the picture of those who protested in London about Sechelles Seychelles government vilation of constitutinal rights regarding exile/refugee allowed to vote.

The Compensation debacle/debate - call for the 10,000 -15,000 Seychelles exile/refugee - $500 millions
After we posted that video of Mr Christopher Gill, your first 30 days as President of Sechelles Seychelles, we left out any issues relating to past and current National Compensation for Seychellois exile/refugee, simply as some of the leading Lawyers, Judges, Seychelles Judiciary will realize this is a "Horror, a proper can of maggots/worms".

Mr Christopher Gill is a relatively young Seychellois politicians and may not be fully aware of some of the highly complicated issues others and our person have handled, worked over over the past 35 years in relation to this Topic. {Any incoming none SPPF/PL government will be compel to address and tackle this burning National issues in relation, along with the National debts.}

Now that the NGO's, Civic Society in Seychelles have become familiar with some of the working of the International Institutions, Communities, Judiciary when addressing Refugee/Exile compensation. Inevitably the question is ask what percentage of this Compensation is/will the International Community foot/share. The need to see this as the situation was in 1991 there about, the development in exile/refugee compensation criteria - the impact of the Media on such issues and outcome.

This said - the question need to be raised, ask did - was there a Compensation Plan for the exile/refugees under that SIROP etc., return program. Had there been a/the proper change this program had envisaged - once again the need to refer to those documents, note left in Angers - Loire and those lost/destroyed in 87a Victoria Rd. Kilburn - Brent where that Program was concepted and managed. President FA Rene would like to indicate there was no specific plan for Compensation.

We had a Plan for the economic reintegration of the exile/refugee returning community

We had a plan to compensate those whose property had been nationalise

We had a plan to compensate, indemnify all those who had suffered as a result of the exile/refugee experience as laid out by the UN, IMF, World Bank and other international bodies - we had researched those issues some 5/10 years earlier and followed development.

We had envisaged some kind of National Bond, the exile/refugee could benefit from or exclusively - hence the issues of the Stock Market

Other special assistance, efforts, national program to help and support the returning refugee/exile.

Like we have said a great many of the SIROP etc working were not made public as such those from the USA, EU, Commonwealth who hijacked it did not know its working and it failed.

The National Compensation Plan under the Fudge/change which led to the 3rd Republic. One thing for certain the Seychelles government did not have any money in 1987/88 when that program was put together and they were relying upon its working to generate finance, capital, investments, business, Grants and Loans - over the next 10 years. They also knew from past experience of being in Office and such international government working/economic Program there would be other modalities, gearing process, taking place in this case some $20 billions and more, those who have the details and were involved.

Any young economist can review Seychelles government debts in 1987.

{ Mr Gerrard Houreau, the SNM/MPR Leader and his Executives Plan was just take everything back the SPPF had Nationalise and what ever help the International Communities would tip in/donate}

Available to the public are information of their National Plan and process to compensate the exile/refugee and those international investors who lost money, property Nationalise.

On the web certain individuals have written and address the issues of Seychelles government National Compensation - criteria's, this would have fallen under the Ministry of current President JA Michel, the media involvement and Court Cases.

The Seychelles Compensation plan was highly improper and certainly not fair - we will be coming back to this later. Some of their arguments for not compensating or refusal.

There was and has never been a proper plan to compensate the exile/refugee world wide or any returning exile/refugee under a National Plan.

The need to look at the East Africa debacle/compensation
Shortly after the Independence of Zanzibar those exile/refugee, expat who found themselves in Seychelles, beside Seychellois National like Captain Tregarten, my own uncle family, Mr Akba, the Parkar Family, Judge EJ Stiven, other Seychellois family we had know and other British expat in Seychelles who had lost property, existance and suffered as a result of the Revolution and exile. This was 1963/4

President FA Rene, Mr Philibert Louiseau, Mr Guy Sinon were familiar with events, development and political issues - debate in relation.

In relation, given that we formed part of OAU and today African Union. The compensation process, debacle for the Asian and all those who lost everything under the Uganda government of Idi Amin, Dr Obote and the British involvements, cases and issues to date.

Likewise in Tanganika and Kenya. After independence and the compensation process, Plan under President Julius Nyerere and President Jomo Kenyatta.

The need to look at the Compensation debacle/Plan for the Illois - BIOT from Britain
The original Plan

The more recent Compensation Plans, debacles. Court Cases.

Seychelles recent/History compensation cases
The earthquake and Tsunami of 2004/5 the compensation at international level for the Nation and Individual compensation, support a proper account need to be drawn up. They did not just get $30 millions, get got a very great deal more.

In Recent Sechelles Seychelles, the La Miser - Di leau kaka, the court case political issues, CRITERIA FOR COMPENSATION

The National assembly, Riot of 2009, Court case and compensation criteria's.

Police abuses cases

News paper publication cases - civil case.

The Somali, pirate compensation at international level for Seychelles and those Fisherman affected and impacted.

We believe to educate, familiarise the people, citizens the need to look at issues we have worked and associate with at International level

We have studied and followed closely the compensation plan by the French government of the Pied Noir - still ongoing

We began to address President Francois Mitterrand and President Jacques Chirac for some kind of compensation for the decendents of those forced to flee France during the religious persecution, the French Revolution.

The Holocaust $8 billions compensation - had that SIROP etc program not gone through, the Berlin Wall not come down, changes in USSR, COMECON, Germany reunification there would not have been any compensation.

Beside the Holocaust Compensation - the compensation fro those whose properties were confiscated by the Communist in East Germany/East Europe and their return to their owners and descendents/Family.

The Armenian Compensation - we began to work, familiarise our self with their issues way back in 1983 and as such their support later.

Kurds Compensation program, plan - the international dimension and such involvement,

The Vietnam compensation program/plan and how it worked.

The various Irish Compensation program, plans - how it /they work.

For that SIROP etc program we studied the Latin American model, compensation and resettlement.

The Sir Lanka compensation for the Tamil Tigers.

If anybody think we were sleeping when two years ago the news broke of the Slave Compensation broke through, those Nations involved in Slave Trade the Massive Compensation Bill they have to Foot. What about the Seychelles Slaves and the Seychelles Exile/refugees.

Rather a highly interesting development is the Mau Mau case - Call for compensation currently running.

We are the first Seychellois exile/refugee who address the International Court of Justice in Person 1991 and other instance in writing.

The need to take into account that £21 millions Royal Court of Justice compensation for that SIROP etc program and the other Court case at Canterbury County court for compensation again to do with those properties, issues of that Program 1995.

In recent as reference - the dreadful kenya Riot two years ago and the Compensation process, Plan by the Kenya government.

Had the Opposition won the last presidential election May 2011, they would have been called upon to review and put in place such Compensation plan. The need to make provision for none Seychellois, those expats and investors who lost as results of the revolution/coup d'état and their call/civil case for compensation which will come about with a none SPPF/PL government.

Again the fact that none of the Oppositions SNM, New DP, Mr Phillippe Boulle, previous opposition, SFP addressed those issues adequately/seriously.

The Judiciary Institutions in Seychelles 1991 and today. The Constitutional Court today and in 1991, the Commission.

The African Union Judiciary in 1991 and today.

The/if not underlying argument - to compensate those Seychelles Exile/Refugees not just in Seychelles but where ever they are for the Traumas and destroyed lives - their Children.

This is why we had began to call for a National review, the gross imbalance, we had delivered on that SIROP etc program those who had made near $10 billions and stash it away beside what was brought into the economy. Those exile/refugee communities of Seychelles who supported and helped.

We believe a Sum of $500 millions is not exaggerated and may be more. In all those Compensation Plan those calling for Compensation set a higher Sum and how it is negotiated - bottom line.

We have discussed such issues with some of the following:
Mr Ben Choppy

Ex Minister D Joubert

Ex Minister Phillippe Jumeau

Mr Phillipe Revera

Mr P Stravens

Mr Woodney Pillay

Mr Marc Didon

Mr Lewis Didon

Mr Levey Ah Wan

A friend of President Jacque Chirac in Seychelles

Lawyer Vlabjhi in exile

Ambassador Rasool DP

Mr Felix Horeau

Mr Kantilan Jivan Shah - Kanti

Mr Hooper

Mr Corrias

Many others in exile/refugee have been refered, in the USA, Canada, Britain, Germany, Italy, Australia, South Africa, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, France and Seychelles.
